FFA Agriculture Teachers Conference

Soil kits from MO DIRT were donated to FFA agriculture teachers while attending their convention in Springfield. Currently, 49 soil kits has been distributed to FFA teachers during MO DIRT events including professional development and FFA meetings.
Riverview Gardens Summer Camp
June 13, 2019
MO DIRT participated of the Riverview Gardens Summer Camp with a display of soil and root demonstrations. Students in 3rd and 4th grade enjoyed tasting ginger powder!
Dream Big - Exploring Careers in STEM
June 4, 2019
MO DIRT participated of Dream Big, a career in STEM exploration for high school students with disabilities. We had demonstrations about soil science including soil critters, soil textures and soil colors.
