Soil Health Partnership Summit

January 15, 2019

MO DIRT participated of the Soil Health Partnership Summit where farmers, agronomists, environmental groups, consumer companies and other partners met to learn about soil health research relevant to operational success. The SHPS facilitated discussions on the adoption of data-driven practices such as cover crops, reduced tillage and nutrient management on farms.

Soil Health Training - St. Louis

December 6, 2018

MO DIRT offered a soil health survey training to educators at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center to promote soil science in the Greater St. Louis region.

Greenhouse Venture - Ambassadors Soil Lab

October 24, 2018

MO DIRT conducted a soil lab with the Ambassadors from the Greenhouse Venture. The Ambassadors is an afterschool STEM program offered to four schools in the St. Louis City. The students conducted physical, chemical and biological soil tests. The soil samples were collected by the students from an area by the HWY - 44 that will be a future pollinators garden.
