MO DIRT offered a session at the STEM Career Explorations event organized by the Academy of Science St. Louis. The "Soil Breaths!" session included demonstrations on physical, chemical and biological characteristics of soil. Six grade students from the St. Louis Public Schools also learned about Menfro, the state soil, and made necklaces with Menfro samples.
